Right Now, Jason Robertson Is THE Best Player In The NHL

Dallas has played a near perfect road game and a PERFECT response game for team defense and goaltending. We had called out the most of the defensemen, especially Suter and Hakanpaa, and ALL of them responded with such a great game. Wedgewood, called into the starter's net late in the day, gave them a save they needed late in the 1st period that they haven't been getting from either him or Oettinger lately.

However, in the 3rd period, Wedgewood plays the puck from behind his own net, doesn't get set quick enough, and Josh Leivo's shot gets tipped by Saad to cut the Stars' lead to one. This game very easily could've given the jolt the Blues needed to gain momentum and force the game into their own hands. Enter Jason Robertson.

Robertson Puts Stars Up 3-1 On Blues November 28th, 2022

With less than five minutes to go, he blocks the puck in his own zone to effectively get a mini breakaway. He makes the most perfect shot at the most opportune time. All good players will have a game they make the play of the game, but ELITE players take the opportunity, put the team on their back, and say, "Ok guys, I got this."

Jason currently leads the league in goals with 18, is second in points behind Connor McDavid with 36, and was recently named the NHL's First Star of The Week with 8 points in 4 games. He's on a 16 game point streak that goes all the back to October 27th... HE HAS SCORED A POINT IN EVERY GAME FOR OVER A MONTH NOW!!! WHAT?!?!?!

AND SO FAR, WE'VE ONLY TALKED ABOUT HIS OFFENSIVE GAME SO FAR!! His defensive game is just as solid! This play climaxes everything the type of player he has become. He blocks the shot, heads the other way, and scores the goal without any help! He can just do it!

He deserves the title of Superstar in the NHL right now with the Connor McDavids, Sidney Crosbys, and Alex Ovechkins of the world. Let's see what else this 23 year old California native can do!
